Wet Cold Ride Nov 18th 2007
Both Nick and John called this morning to make sure we were going. I was already at the coffee shop waiting for them, I 'm not sure if they weren't disappointed that I didn't bail. It took us a while but we finally made it out of the coffee shop. We headed down to the Springwater Corridor to check out some of the new pedestrian bridges (and it was flat). We took it easy on the trail, only one sprint to 28mph. On the way back Nick flew up the hill (near Taylors Ferry and Terwilliger). I tried to hang but the pace kept accelerating, the final steep part was rough, but fun. My toes nearly froze off, I'm totally wearing booties the next time out.
